The stand as built
Mattresses are sold on a health claim: support, spinal alignment, materials, certification. Most mattress stands then contradict that claim by staging a bedroom — soft lighting, throws, cushions — which is domestic and comfortable but says nothing about the engineering the buyer is being asked to pay for.
This stand went the other way and used a clinical language: restrained palette, controlled lighting, technical presentation surfaces and the layer construction shown as a cross-section rather than described. It is a stand that expects to be read, not just walked past, and it suits a manufacturer whose differentiation is in the build rather than the cover fabric.
