The stand as built
İnegöl is Turkey's furniture manufacturing centre, and its exporters come to IMOB to meet distributors, not walk-in customers. That changes what the stand is for: the display brings people in, but the value is created in the meeting rooms, and a manufacturer with several concurrent negotiations needs more than one.
So the rooms came first in the plan and the display was arranged around them. Building them into the structure rather than dropping partitioned boxes onto the plot is what keeps a 200 m² stand from feeling like an office — the rooms read as part of the architecture, and the display walls that enclose them are still working display walls on the outside.
